Štefica Galić: Little is needed from parading to bloodshed

SARAJevo, (Patria) – Delegates from the Club of Serbs and Croats in the House of Peoples of the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina refused to support the initiative for that house to condemn the parading of members of the Ravna Gora Chetnik movement in Višegrad.

Delegate from the Club of Croats Zlatko Miletić (DF) requested on Tuesday that the parading in Višegrad be put on the agenda, but this initiative was rejected.

Members of the Ravna Gora Chetnik movement in Višegrad marked the anniversary of the arrest of Chetnik general and war criminal from World War II Dragoljub Draža Mihailović on Sunday, from where the song "There will be hell and the bloody Drina again, here come the Chetniks from the Serbian mountains" was heard. 

Numerous domestic and international organizations, including the OHR and foreign embassies, condemned such messages from Višegrad, but the House of Peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina refused to condemn the events in Višegrad today.

The editor of the portal Tačno.net from Mostar, Štefica Galić, is not surprised by such behavior of politicians in Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

"These parties are successors of fascist ideologies, whose representatives paraded unhindered," Galić says in a comment for the Patria agency, adding that there is no law in BiH that prohibits the promotion of fascist ideology, but points out that laws are passed precisely by representatives of the same political parties. 

"Human and political misery and wretchedness," says Galić, accusing those who, as she says, "do not condemn this arrogant fascist act, allow it and those who carried it out." 

"Little is needed from parading to bloodshed, at least we witnessed that two decades ago," warns Galić.
