Statistics in Favor of BiH: Increase in Tourists Recorded in Our Country

The total number of tourist arrivals in October 2014 was 59,607, which is 4.1% more compared to October 2013, according to data from the Federal Institute of Statistics, as reported by the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP).

The total number of tourist overnight stays in October 2014 was 109,578, which is 3.1% more compared to October 2013.
 
By type of accommodation facility, the largest number of overnight stays was achieved in the category Hotels and similar accommodation with a share of 96.4%. In the structure of foreign tourist overnight stays, the most overnight stays were made by tourists from Croatia (12.2%), Turkey (9.3%), Italy (9.0%), Slovenia (8.9%), and Other Asian countries (5.9%), totaling 45.3%. Tourists from other countries accounted for 54.7% of overnight stays.

The number of available beds in October 2014 was 19,640, which is 12.2% more compared to October 2013, as reported by NAP.
