Elderly man died at Otoka swimming pool

An elderly man felt unwell around 1:30 PM today at the Otoka Olympic swimming pool, and soon after passed away, writes Patria News Agency. The Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior is conducting an investigation.

Although the emergency team arrived at the scene very quickly and attempted to resuscitate the man, they were unsuccessful. The exact cause of death will be determined by an autopsy. 

Otherwise, the past few days with high temperatures have adversely affected chronic patients, as well as the elderly population. A number of collapse incidents have been recorded in public places, and it is recommended to avoid being outdoors and engaging in physical activity during the hottest part of the day.
