Old Town Recognizable Tourist Destination

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The streets of Sarajevo's oldest municipality, the Old Town municipality, are full of tourists these days. The rich cultural and historical heritage and the blend of East and West that adorn this municipality are just one of the reasons for such a large visit, the Old Town Municipality announced.

"It is equally important to provide our city's guests, as well as the citizens themselves, with quality infrastructure, which is a prerequisite for tourists to come and return to Sarajevo. The Mayor of the Municipality, Ibrahim Hadžibajrić, along with his associates and relevant services, has been actively working for the past 11 years on the renovation of the Old Town, street repairs, construction, and everything that makes us a recognizable tourist destination for guests from all over the world today.

We are proud that tourists choose the Old Town, and happy that they are spreading beautiful words and images of the renovated streets of Baščaršija: Bravadžiluk, Baščaršijski trg, Sarače, as well as Ferhadija, Štrosmajerova, At mejdan, Kovači... To all those who have visited the Old Town these days, we wish them to take beautiful memories with them, to return and spread the good word about this municipality, and the photos best testify to how visited the Old Town is these days.
