Stari Grad: Inspection of Buildings and Apartments Begins to Harmonise Cadastre and Land Registry Data

Residents of the Municipality of Stari Grad are informed that the implementation of the project to update cadastre and land registry data on real estate in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is underway. For the purpose of preparing the registration of apartments and business premises in the cadastre and land registry, experts from the contractor will, in the coming period, inspect buildings in the cadastral municipalities of Sarajevo III and Sarajevo XI to harmonise data with the situation on the ground, Patria reports.

The streets subject to harmonisation in the cadastral municipality of Sarajevo III, where building inspections are being conducted, are:

Pehlivanuša, Muse Ćazima Ćatića, Potoklinica, Josipa Štadlera, Čemerlina, Karpuzova, Adžemovića, Sunulah Efendije, Braće Eskenazi, Golobrdica, Čadordžina, Halim Hodžina, Vrbanjuša, Budakovića čikma, Cvjetina, Brdovita, Kriva, Sedrenik, Alije Nametka, Mihrivode, Vareška, Ticina, Nerkesina, Ispod Budakovića, Hercina, Očaktanum, Pirin Brijeg, Sagrdžije čikma, Sagrdžije, Hamida Svrze, Fadil Paše Šerifovića, Logavina, Toromanova, Ulomljenica, Kečina, Glođina.

The streets subject to harmonisation in the cadastral municipality of Sarajevo XI, where building inspections are being conducted, are:

Obala Kulina bana, Zrinskog čikma, Zelenih beretki, Štrosmajerova, Ferhadija, Mula Mustafe Bašeskija, Dženetića čikma, Niže Banje, Petrakijina, Mehmed-paše Sokolovića and Pehlivanuša.

Owners or users of condominium units are invited to participate in the implementation of this project and to provide the requested data to the authorised officers, given that a new, more reliable ownership record of condominium units will be established (without any additional costs for them at the competent authority).

Furthermore, users of real estate in the area of these two cadastral municipalities are invited, if their properties have not yet been registered with the competent authority, to report to the municipal cadastre of the Municipality of Stari Grad Sarajevo with the necessary documents for subsequent recording in the cadastral operator.

The goal is to establish an up-to-date and interconnected database

The Municipality of Stari Grad Sarajevo is one of 13 municipalities that signed an agreement with the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Property-Legal Affairs on the joint implementation of activities for the systematic harmonisation of cadastre and land registry data on real estate.

The Federal Administration for Geodetic and Property-Legal Affairs concluded a contract for the implementation of the project with the company "Geodet" d.o.o. Sarajevo. The deadline for the implementation of the contract is six months, after which the procedure for the replacement and establishment of the Land Registry, carried out in the land registry offices of the competent courts, follows. The goal of harmonising data on real estate and rights to real estate from the cadastre and land registry is to establish up-to-date and interconnected cadastral and land registry databases or an integrated real estate cadastre database, and to use this data to increase the registration rate of real estate in urban areas of the FBiH.

For all buildings where one or more condominium units are registered in the book of deposited contracts, the contractor is obliged to prepare a division plan. In the division plan, the contractor will identify and graphically display all condominium units that are in separate ownership (division plan). The competent municipal authority will issue a certificate on the executed division plan.
