A mining accident occurred this morning at 10 AM in the Stara jama Zenica mine, resulting in the death of miner Jasmin Đulan, reports the Patria News Agency.
Đulan died in an accident while maneuvering wagons. According to Mehmed Oruč, president of the Zenica Mine Trade Union, there is suspicion that the death was caused by a stroke or heart attack, not by entrapment or work-related consequences, and an autopsy has been ordered because of this.
"What was visible at the scene indicated a stroke or heart attack, not a work accident. The final word will be given by experts from the Ministry of Interior and the autopsy," said Oruč, reports zenicablog.com.
