Old and new majority close to agreement on unblocking KS Assembly

SARAJEVO, (Patria) – A meeting of representatives of parties participating in the KS Assembly has been scheduled for today to find a solution for unblocking the KS Assembly's work.

Prior to this meeting, a meeting of representatives of the 'four' was held, consisting of People and Justice, SDP BiH, Our Party, NBL, along with two independent representatives Damir Marjanović and Damir Nikšić. Jasna Duraković is also an independent representative.

On the other hand are SDA, SBB, DF, and BOSS, led by ten SDA representatives. It is precisely this new assembly majority that has offered an agreement to the 'four' in a way that Smiljana Viteškić presides over the Assembly sessions until all procedures related to the election of leadership and the vote of no confidence in the KS Government are completed. A different agreement is also possible, with the condition that sessions are not interrupted until the change of the KS Government is completed.

By the end of January, it is necessary to adopt the Decision on the temporary financing of KS, as well as the temporary financing of the Health Insurance Fund and the Employment Service of KS, in order to enable the normal functioning of Sarajevo Canton.
