Stano on the situation in BiH: Sanctions are on the table

BRUSSELS, (Patria) – Peter Stano, EU spokesperson, said today that the situation in BiH is serious, and that the EU takes it seriously, which is why they have intensified their engagement.

“Together with partners not only EU countries, partner countries, with our partner the USA,” he said.

When it comes to sanctions against Milorad Dodik, the president of SNSD, Stano said that they are on the table.

“In light of the latest developments, secessionist and divisive rhetoric, unacceptable rhetoric and some actions that undermine the unity of state institutions, ministers discussed the situation and all options are on the table,” concluded Stano.

We remind you that on Monday, the EU Council of Foreign Affairs held a meeting at which it considered the situation in BiH, but without adopted conclusions.
