Pero Gudelj's condition improves, he speaks short sentences

The condition of Pero Gudelj, a prominent Bosnian businessman and owner of the FIS Vitez retail chain, has improved compared to previous days, and his condition continues to be monitored, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

As stated by Muamera Šehić, spokesperson for the University Clinical Center of Sarajevo (UKCS), the patient is awake and responds to doctors' commands.

- He speaks short sentences in response to doctors' inquiries, and his condition will be monitored - said Šehić.

Gudelj is placed in the intensive care unit of the Neurosurgery Clinic at UKCS.

We remind you, Gudelj sustained a gunshot wound to the head, survived a multi-hour surgery, and did not wake up for eight days. The exact circumstances of the tragedy in which Gudelj was injured are still not fully known, and the investigation is ongoing.
