Road conditions: Alternating single-lane traffic in Vranduk tunnel

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina this morning are partially wet.

BIHAMK warns drivers of frequent landslides or rockfalls, especially on sections passing through cuts and mountain passes.

Due to the risk of landslides on the M-16 main road Banja Luka–Crna Rijeka (at the location of Dabrac), traffic has been halted and diverted to alternative routes.

On the M-16.4 main road section Novi Travnik-Bugojno, due to bridge reconstruction works, a traffic ban is in effect for freight vehicles over 7 tonnes total weight. The alternative route for this category of vehicles is Novi Travnik-Travnik-Donji Vakuf-Bugojno.

On the M-17 main road Zenica-Nemila, due to works in the Vranduk tunnel, vehicles are alternating single-lane traffic, with light signaling in place.

On all road routes, cautious driving is advised, and BIHAMK reminds that possession of winter equipment is legally mandatory.

At border crossings, waiting times do not exceed 30 minutes.

For security reasons, traffic for freight vehicles and buses on roads to and from the Brčko-Gunja border crossing bridge has been suspended.

Due to works in Croatia, traffic for all vehicle categories at the Bosanski Novi-Dvor border crossing has been suspended.
