Road conditions in BiH: Long queues at border crossings, left tube of the 1. mart tunnel on A1 closed

(Patria) - Due to rehabilitation works on the Gorica bridge, the left tube of the 1. mart tunnel on the A-1 motorway section Zenica-Sarajevo is closed to traffic, and vehicles are moving in both directions through the right tunnel tube.

Traffic is slower due to daytime works on the main roads: Bihać-Kamenica, Stup-Blažuj, Kiseljak-Busovača, Travnik-Vitez, Ripač-Dubovsko, at the entrance to Bugojno (from the direction of Rostovo), Hadžići and Kladanj (from the direction of Olovo).

Due to road subsidence at the entrance to Vinac from the direction of Donji Vakuf (M-5/16 Donji Vakuf-Jajce), only one lane is operational, and the speed limit is 20 km/h.

On the section of the regional road from the town of Ravno towards the main road Ljubinje-Trebinje (M-6), traffic is suspended and diverted to alternative routes.

Due to rehabilitation works, the bridge at the entrance to Nemila (connecting M-17 with R-473) is closed, and vehicles travel via the intersection in Topčić Polje.

We advise drivers to drive with maximum caution regardless of weather and traffic conditions, to maintain a safe distance between vehicles, and to avoid risky overtaking. We remind drivers of heavy goods vehicles that when they notice a long line of passenger vehicles behind them, they should briefly pull over to allow unobstructed passenger traffic.

There are long queues at the exit from Bosnia and Herzegovina at the border crossings of Velika Kladuša, Izačić and Bosanska Gradiška, and at the border crossings of Donja Gradina and Bosanski Brod at the entrance to our country. At other border crossings, passenger vehicle traffic is occasionally intensified, and waiting times currently range from 10 to 30 minutes.
