ROAD CONDITIONS BIHAMK WARNS OF LANDSLIDES AND OCCASIONALLY STRONG WINDS

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - On roads in most of Bosnia and Herzegovina, traffic is moving on dry and occasionally wet roads, and BIHAMK warns of frequent landslides, as well as occasionally strong winds.

We advise cautious driving and remind drivers that winter equipment is legally mandatory.

Due to numerous landslides and the danger of mudslides on the Brod na Drini-GP Hum/Šćepan Polje main road, passenger vehicles are experiencing difficulties, while trucks cannot pass.

Traffic is still suspended in the Jasen tunnel (Prozor-Jablanica) due to works. Passenger vehicles and smaller trucks are using the bypass around the tunnel, while vehicles over 7.5 tons (with the exception of buses) are being redirected to alternative routes: Mostar-Široki Brijeg-Posušje-Tomislavgrad-Kupres-Bugojno and Mostar-Sarajevo-Busovača-Novi Travnik-Bugojno.

Due to ongoing works, we also highlight the following roads: Klasičnice-Laktaši, Stupari-Živinice, Drvar-Bosansko Grahovo, Rogatica-Ustiprača, Gromiljak-Blažuj and Šuica-Tomislavgrad.

There are currently no long delays at border crossings.
