Stanivuković: You cannot stop me

BANJA LUKA, (Patria) - Regarding the arrest of Draško Stanivuković, PDP MP in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, last night in Banja Luka, his team issued a press release stating that Stanivuković was detained while lighting a candle in the Temple of Christ the Saviour and that the police tried to prevent the media from filming and photographing the arrest.

- A fabricated process is being conducted against Draško Stanivuković, which means that the authorities are using young people gathered around Draško in the most perfidious way and forcing them to make statements under fear and pressure. They are visiting all of Draško's associates at their homes and asking questions: "Did Draško persuade you?" They are asking questions that insinuate answers.

The goal is criminal prosecution and preventing Draško Stanivuković's further political activity at all costs.

- You will not be able to convict me because I am not guilty and because there is no evidence! You will not be able to stop the support I have from people. You will lose now, and in two years.

Coup d'état, overthrowing institutions, foreign factor, these are terms the authorities use to distort the truth. These terms have become ridiculous to the public, because we have had all sorts of color revolutions, all kinds of coups, and time has shown that they were all just fabrications. Time will show this again - Stanivuković stated.

Stanivuković was with his lawyer at the PS Centar last night, and he will give a statement to the police today.

Stanivuković's team stated that his social media network Facebook (private profile) was also hacked. A team of experts has been engaged to prevent misuse. For now, Draško's team has access to the Facebook page "Draško Stanivuković - Draško Stanivuković", as well as the Twitter account.

- They cannot understand that the more they hit me, the stronger I become. The only way they can stop me is the way they stopped Vukelić, Arbutina, David, my uncle, and others. By taking away the most sacred thing - concluded Stanivuković, as announced by his team.
