Stanivuković wins the first battle, but also faces a criminal complaint, Kajak terrace is being removed

SARAJEVO, (Pateia) - The legal team, in consultation with the Radišić family, decided to dismantle part of the "Kajak terrace" in Banja Luka, which is being voluntarily removed by the investor, said Miloš Stevanović, the family's lawyer, at a press conference in Bijeljina.

As Nezavisne writes, he pointed out that the Communal Police of Banja Luka illegally made the decision to dismantle the facility, and that they did so for several reasons.

We want to preserve public order and peace in Banja Luka. The Radišić family does not want to participate in political bickering. Only a part of the "Kajak terrace" has been dismantled, while the cafe is operating completely legally and perfectly fine – emphasized Stevanović.

He stated that the City Administration did not act in accordance with the law, and asked Stanivuković why he forgot to mention why the case files were not submitted in the second-instance appeal in this case.

I can inform the public that we have filed a criminal complaint against the communal police officer who ordered the demolition of the "Kajak terrace", as well as against Draško Stanivuković, the mayor of Banja Luka. He did not wait for the verdict to be delivered, but ordered the demolition himself – explained Stevanović.

He emphasized that the legal team of the Radišić family did not want anyone to perform any performances in front of this facility, and that politicians were gathering there.

"Everything will be removed by tomorrow. Upon completion of all procedures, we will file a claim against the Banja Luka City Administration for compensation for the damages caused to the Radišić family" – said Stevanović.
