Stanić, Laketa, Ćulum, Jovanović and Zubac want to head SIPA

SARAJEVO, (Patria) – The Independent Board of the BiH Parliament has received five applications for the director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), which will be opened today at 5 PM at the session of the Independent Board. 

According to information available to Patria, in addition to the current director of SIPA, Perica Stanić, applications were also submitted by Njegoš Jovanović, an employee of the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs, Žarko Laketa, the current police chief from Trebinje, Darko Ćulum, director of the RS Police, and Goran Zubac, the former dismissed director of SIPA.

The Independent Board will review the submitted applications and the completeness of the documentation, after which the final list of candidates for the director of SIPA will be known.

Director Stanić's mandate expires at the beginning of November.
