Stadion Grbavica fulfills another UEFA condition, complete video surveillance installed

Today, a contract was signed between FK Željezničar and the Agency for the Protection of People and Property GAMA AA for the procurement and installation of equipment for a closed technical protection system of video surveillance at the Stadion Grbavica, reports the Patria agency.

After the installation of video surveillance on the stand and entrances to West A1, VIP, VIP gallery, surrounding area and all official rooms in the previous period, an additional 40 high-resolution cameras will be installed within 30 days at all entrances of the North, East and South stands, as well as in the gallery area and stands of the stadium.

In this way, every corner of the Stadion Grbavica will be covered by the most modern video camera technology, which will provide greater security for all visitors and facilitate the work of officers of the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton and the security agency from the control room.

The video surveillance system will be particularly prominent at the entrance and Sector B6 for visiting fans.

The implementation of this project will prevent unauthorized entry of persons to Željezničar matches, increase ticket revenue as well as security at the stadium, and will bring the Stadion Grbavica closer to category 3 of the UEFA Stadium Classification Regulations.
