Stable until January 4, then precipitation without extremely low temperatures

The cessation of precipitation and a more stable period in Bosnia is expected from December 31, 2014 and will last until January 4, 2015, after which instability with moderate snow will follow, according to the forecast of the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute, as reported by the Bosnian news agency Patria.

- In Herzegovina, fairly stable weather is expected until January 4, 2015, after which moderate precipitation in the form of sleet and snow is expected. According to forecasts, this instability across the country will last until January 12, 2014, followed by a shorter stable period - it is stated.

A wave of cold air from the north that will affect the entire region will cause quite low temperatures, so in Bosnia until January 3, 2015, temperatures of -15 to -6 are expected, and in Herzegovina from -7 to -1 degree. In the same period, daily maximums in Bosnia will range from -8 to -2, and in Herzegovina from -1 to 8 degrees.

A gradual increase in temperatures is expected from January 4 to 9, 2015, when morning temperatures in Bosnia are expected from -7 to -2, and in Herzegovina from -3 to 4 degrees. Daily maximums in that period in Bosnia will range from 0 to 7, and in Herzegovina from 5 to 13 degrees. From January 9 to 14, temperatures will rise further, so in Bosnia they are expected from -1 to 5, and in Herzegovina from 2 to 7 degrees. Daily maximums in Bosnia will range from 6 to 15, and in Herzegovina from 7 to 17 °C.
