
SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Civil Protection Headquarters of Sarajevo Canton, during its session on Friday evening, among other decisions, adopted a Decision on allocating 100,000 KM for the additional procurement of 55,000 protective masks, 50,000 pairs of protective gloves, 1,000 liters of disinfectant, as well as other necessary protective equipment.
This decision was made at the Fourth extraordinary session of this Headquarters, in an expanded composition, attended by Prime Minister Mario Nenadić and Minister of Finance Jasmin Halebić, and led by the commander and minister of communal economy and infrastructure, Nihada Glamoč, announced the KS Press Service.
At the beginning of the session, Prime Minister Nenadić informed the members of the Headquarters about the measures and activities undertaken so far by the Government of Sarajevo Canton in the new situation, aimed at preventing the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Following that, the session analyzed the current situation in the Canton caused by the appearance of Coronavirus in our country, as well as the measures and activities undertaken by the Headquarters and all cantonal administrative bodies, organizations, and institutions in implementing the previous orders of the Federal and Cantonal Civil Protection Headquarters.
The Headquarters noted that during the previous day, the Cantonal Civil Protection Administration of KS handed over a certain amount of disinfectant to the Home for Children without Parental Care at Bjelave, the Gerontology Center, and the Home for the Disabled and Other Persons in Nahorevo.
It was also highlighted that the Order instructing the Directorate of Commodity Reserves of KS to allocate all available quantities of 96% alcohol from its reserves, through the Headquarters, for the needs of laboratories within the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, JU "General Hospital prim. dr. Abdulah Nakaš", and JU Sarajevo Canton Health Center has been implemented.
It was concluded that the Order of the Federal Civil Protection Headquarters regarding the provision of triage points with sanitary questionnaires, placed in front of the entrances to each healthcare institution and social protection institution, will be implemented by the end of today.
