HNK Civil Protection Headquarters warns of possible traffic collapse and power outages

(Patria) - The HNK Civil Protection Headquarters issued an urgent warning due to extreme rainfall expected on Tuesday and Wednesday. Up to 200 l/m² of rain is forecast, which, combined with snow, could cause flash floods, landslides, and river overflows.

Possible power supply interruptions and traffic collapse are expected. The highest level of readiness has been ordered for relevant services, along with monitoring of critical points. Citizens are urged to exercise maximum caution.

An emergency session of the Headquarters has been scheduled for today to coordinate urgent measures for the protection of the population and property.

River levels are rising, and the Neretva River in Konjic had already reached the stone bridge last night.
