What happened to the 200,000 KM that BPS took from veterans and gave to its association?

Former Minister for Veterans' Affairs of Sarajevo Canton Faid Hećo (BPS-Sefer Halilović) allocated 200,000 KM from the 2013 budget to the Foundation for the Protection of Historical Facts "Justice" Sarajevo, whose director is Medina Delalić, a member of BPS, and the Association's headquarters is at the same address as BPS at Ćemaluša 6/II street, writes the BH News Agency Patria.

The Patria Agency previously published a story about this incredible theft, and the money was allegedly supposed to go towards providing legal assistance for suspected and accused former members of the Army of RBiH in war crimes cases for 2013.

The Foundation headed by Delalić was established on 02.09.2013, as stated in the decision of the Federal Ministry of Justice, only two months before the money was approved from the budget.

At the same time, the Foundation "Patriotic Front" from Hadžići, established in 2011, applied for the same Public Call as the Foundation "Justice". However, they did not receive funds due to a request that was "not formally legally correct", as they were informed by the Ministry.

The Patria News Agency is still awaiting a report from the Ministry for Veterans' Affairs of Sarajevo Canton on the spending of these funds and a report on what exactly the 200,000 KM of public money was spent on.

Medina Delalić, as reported by "Oslobođenje" in December 2013, among other BPS members, was proposed for as many as five commissions within the Ministry for Veterans' Affairs of Sarajevo Canton. The then minister Asim Džambasović (BPS), who became minister in November 2012, refused to sign that decision and resigned in April 2013 for what he called "private reasons". Faid Hećo (BPS) immediately took his place and carried out the orders of his party leader.
