What Tihić told the SDA leadership in his last address

Sulejman Tihić, the President of the Party of Democratic Action, who passed away tonight at the age of 63, gave his last address to the party leadership and officials at the SDA Main Board session in June of this year, writes Patria.

In fact, the main reason for holding this session was precisely the letter from SDA President Sulejman Tihić to the members of this party body, as well as the consideration of the economic development concept for 2014-2018, and the proposal of the SDA Electoral Platform for the upcoming general elections.

In the letter, Tihić told the party leadership not to allow the time until the elections to be marked only by the pre-election campaign, but also by efforts to move the country out of its current state of stagnation.

It is extremely important for SDA to have initiatives and proposals. Referring to the current political situation in BiH, Tihić emphasized in the letter that he is aware that it is extremely difficult and that he has no idea how to move things forward.

- This year has so far been marked by justified citizen protests in February and natural disasters in May. Fulfilling the justified demands of the citizens and repairing the damage from the disasters must be our primary goal, the SDA president said at the time in his letter.

For all these activities, as he emphasized, a strong and united SDA is needed, and he urged party members to adhere to the program declaration and the Statute.
