What was the Yugoslav cargo ship "Bosna" doing in 1958 in the industrial port of Greenock in northern Scotland? It brought raw sugar from Mauritius. At least, that's what the journalists of the local newspaper "Greenock Telegraph" claim, who investigated how the only photograph of the old cargo port in this city, which was once the pride of the industrial development of that region, came to be, reports the BH news agency Patria (NAP).

The black and white photograph, according to the journalists, was taken in February 1958. The photograph shows the unloading of sacks from a large ship anchored in the port.

The journalist of the "Greenock Telegraph" investigated the background of the photograph and concluded, referring to witnesses, that the ship in the port, which has now been converted into a modern terminal that receives even the largest ocean liners, was actually a Yugoslav ship named "Bosna" which brought raw sugar to Greenock.

However, he further notes, that ship sailed to Greenock from the island nation of Mauritius.
