SRVI ZDK has no objections to the prescribed new rights in the field of healthcare

(Patria) - The Prime Minister of Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDK) Nezir Pivić and the Minister for Veterans' Affairs Adnan Sirovica spoke today with the leadership of the Association of War Veterans with Disabilities (SRVI) ZDK, headed by President Amir Mujkić.

SRVI ZDK believes they were excluded from the harmonization procedure of the proposed Decision on the expanded scope of healthcare rights for defenders and their family members, which will be on the agenda of the ZDK Assembly on Monday, December 23, which is why they scheduled a peaceful protest during the session.

Representatives of SRVI and the ZDK Government reached maximum agreement and resolved all misunderstandings, stating that this organization has no objections to the prescribed healthcare rights defined by the said decision, which have been harmonized with other fundamental veteran organizations in this canton, and that they are withdrawing the announced peaceful protest.

It was agreed that cooperation and regular communication between SRVI and the ZDK Government will continue, especially when adopting laws and regulations that govern the position and rights of the veteran population, with a focus on the population of war veterans with disabilities as one of the most deserving social categories.
