High school scholarship holders of the “Izvor nade” Foundation achieved above-average results

After the 2016/2017 school year officially ended, the Foundation's management, i.e. coordinators for work with high school students, analyzed the results achieved in the past school year, with a special emphasis on results from the second semester.

As we previously reported on our website, high school students finished the first semester with an average grade of 4.

Work, effort and engagement of the coordinators, as well as quality communication with high school students and their parents, resulted in even better results in the second semester, achieving an average grade of 4.3.

It is worth noting that the Foundation provided scholarships to 49 high school students in the previous school year, of which 15 attended the first grade, 17 the second, 4 the third, and 13 the fourth grade.

Exceptional results, with an average grade of 5.0, were achieved by high school students: Ismet Kadrić, Armin Muhić, Sedin Husić, Burhan Ljubović and Izudin Beganović.

Excellent success was also achieved by: Emina Mujić (average grade 4.50), Adela Hasanović (4.91), Elma Fetić (4.57), Nura Geko (4.81), Merjema Mujić (4.92), Šabanija Gazić (4.92), Jasmin Delanović (4.81), Hašim Čosić (4.70), Davud Topalović (4.82), Adem Čeho (4.60), Muharem Jusupović (4.56), Muamer Sažić (4.70), Muris Selman (4.60), Kasim Jašarević (4.60), Jakub Patković (4.50) and Mensur Turić (4.80).

The management of the Foundation for the Advancement of Education and Culture “Izvor nade”, led by director Tarik Agetović, extended congratulations to the students with the wish that they continue to achieve excellent results and successes throughout their high school and university days.

Merjem Salihagić, a pedagogue at the “Izvor nade” Foundation, says that the previous school year was dynamic in terms of activities, but that the results are commendable.

“We offered them constant motivation and mentorship, support in learning through instructional classes, education in additional skills, and above all, love and friendship. This was a dynamic and demanding year for all of us, and we are very proud of our high school students who showed strength and will in raising the level of aspiration and setting higher goals,” said Salihagić.

Director of the “Izvor nade” Foundation, Tarik Agetović, says that the results are the best indicator that investing in the education of young people is the best investment.

     

“The greatest incentive for our work is the success of our scholarship holders; the average achieved by our high school students is commendable and we are proud of them. This result is a great honor but also an obligation, for both us and them, to continue further and better,” emphasized Director Agetović.
