High school students will do internships in the Army of Montenegro

PODGORICA, (Patria) - Students from five secondary schools in Podgorica will have the opportunity to do internships in the Army of Montenegro.

These are students of the Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Geodesy, Medical, Art, and also the Secondary Vocational School Ivan Uskovović from Podgorica.

Mihailo Volkov from the Ministry of Defence said that this is just one in a series of projects of that department, intended for young people in Montenegro, to point out the opportunities offered by the Army of Montenegro.

"We have opened the door for young people to do internships in units of the Army of Montenegro. We offer them the opportunity to master in practice what they learn at school in a unit of the Army of Montenegro. Thus, students of the Electrical Engineering School and the Mechanical Engineering School will gain practical knowledge in the aviation of Montenegro, in the part concerning aircraft maintenance. Children from the Medical School will attend internships at the Military Medical Center of the Army of Montenegro, while children from the Civil Engineering School will go through the theoretical knowledge they have acquired with the Engineering Company," said Volkov on the RTCG Morning Program.

Children from the Secondary Music School will have the opportunity to master the subject of Wind Instruments once a week.

"We are willing and open to start according to the wishes of the schools, as far as we are concerned, as early as tomorrow. This is the first time we are organizing such an internship," said Volkov.

He said he expects children to better understand the military system, the military profession, and the position of the army in the system, NAP reports.
