Sprind Wins Three Gold Medals for Quality

The food industry company Sprind d.d. Sarajevo won three gold medals for quality at this year's 44th International Agricultural and Food Industry Fair – the Gradačac Plum Fair, reports the Patria News Agency.

Sprind's Jufka for baklava, Premium Tagliatelle pasta with spinach, and Cannelloni with cheese and spinach won the gold medals. The awards were presented to the company's chief technologist, dipl. ing. Subhija Gadžo.

- We are very proud of winning three first places. This is also a recognition of the hard work of all of us who work at Sprind in constantly raising the level of quality, as well as in continuous innovation. Sprind's jufke are our best-selling product, and we are glad that the Fair's jury recognized the top quality of our fresh jufka for baklava, but we are also proud of the two gold medals for products from our new premium pasta line, Tagliatelle and Cannelloni - Gadžo stated.   

Sprind's jufke are the most famous brand of the Sprind company, and the jufka for baklava is the best-selling item due to its undeniable quality and thinness, especially during the periods before the Eid holidays. The well-known slogan "there is no baklava without Sprind's jufka" has become an integral part of baklava recipes for housewives in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Sprind's semi-finished frozen meals are absolute winners in the frozen meals category, having won both gold and silver medals for quality. Cannelloni with cheese and spinach and Lasagne alla bolognese are representatives of the frozen premium pasta category, which were launched last year, a category that is trending both in foreign and domestic markets. These are products that perfectly fit into modern busy daily life and are an ideal solution for anyone who wants a quality meal of superior taste, prepared quickly.

Tagliatelle with spinach are dry premium pasta from the new product line introduced to the market in February this year, and they are the first pasta of this type and premium quality produced in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Sprind d.d. Sarajevo is among the bakery industries with the longest tradition in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The company has state-of-the-art equipment for the production of all types of bread and pastries, semi-finished deep-frozen meals based on puff and yeast dough, jufke, pies, sandwiches, and confectionery products. Sprind produces 6,000 tons of food annually and employs more than 165 workers, making it one of the largest food producers in BiH. Compared to last year, there has been a 10% increase in the number of employees.
