Disputed House of Peoples session: Ignored requests and procedural errors reason for boycott by Bosniak delegates

(Patria) - Delegates of the Bosniak People's Club in the House of Peoples informed the Speaker of the House, Nikola Špirić, that they will not attend the 15th emergency session, scheduled without consultation with the member of the Collegium from the Bosniak people.



In their letter, the delegates state that they were not consulted, nor was the procedural communication with the member of the Collegium from the Bosniak people carried out when scheduling the session.

They also state that they have already informed the Speaker of this irregularity by letter dated May 29, 2025, and that they have decided not to attend the session due to a procedural omission.

They further emphasize the ignoring of the requests of eight delegates of the House, who submitted a request for the convening of a second emergency session on May 29, 2025, even before the scheduling of the disputed 15th session.

The delegates emphasize that such conduct represents a violation of the principles of procedural work and the equality of constituent peoples, and undermines confidence in the legality of the work of the House of Peoples.
