A six-year-old boy who was urgently airlifted to a Split hospital after being bitten by a viper on Hvar is stable, reports the Patria News Agency.
The boy is doing well after receiving antivenom and will remain in the hospital for some time for observation, doctors confirmed.
The Croatian Air Force received praise yesterday for a swift rescue operation. As reported by Hina, the flight to Split took place in rainy and windy weather and lasted only ten minutes.
