Špirić bothered by Bosnian language: New electronic equipment not worth a dime

SNSD representative Nikola Špirić said that in the application stored in the new electronic voting equipment, he is bothered by the name Bosnian language, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

- It should have said the language of the Bosniak people, the language of the Serbian people, and the language of the Croatian people, all according to the Constitution and the Dayton Agreement - said Špirić.

He added that the new equipment is "not worth a dime," and when asked by a journalist why he would determine the name of the language of the Bosniak people, Špirić said he would not do that, but that he does not recognize the Bosnian language. It is precisely because of such statements by deputies that a Code of Conduct is needed.

When asked what should be written for members from the category of Others, Špirić said it should say the language from the category of Others.

Špirić also said that he has nothing to do with the procurement of this equipment and that he does not know its price, but added that "the slow way in which data is stored" is a problem.
