(Patria) - At today's session of the House of Peoples of the BiH PA, SNSD delegates again broke the quorum for work. First, only Nikola Špirić and two delegates from the opposition from RS came to the session. After the Chairman of the House, Kemal Ademović, read the agenda and asked if there were any additions, Nikola Špirić took the floor.
He stated that BiH is split into two parliamentary majorities, one in the House of Representatives and the other in the House of Peoples of the BiH PA.
"At the 19th session on January 29th, we had an agreement within the Collegium on 60 points and 60 audit reports, including the law on the army, the law on salaries, and the law on the court, and six laws on intellectual property. We from the Club of Serbs said at the time that we would support all laws. In order to attend the session where such an agenda is being dismantled, pushing legal solutions and laws that are not part of the European laws. I said then that there is readiness to schedule a new session to discuss all laws and that there are laws to which RS and its institutions have reservations, and I asked at the time to leave time for us to talk and see how we can move things forward. There was no understanding," said Špirić, who emphasized that RS has been subjected to "demonization" for two years.
"Today, we tried in the Collegium to ask for the agenda to be structured so that the laws on the Court and Prosecutor's Office would be the first items, and Ademović said that his colleagues from the Bosniak Club would not support him".
Kemal Ademović interrupted him, saying that he was giving political speeches and could go out and speak to the cameras.
"There is no readiness to talk, and the policy of accusations, blackmail, and blockades continues. We do not want to participate in this. I call on the heads of clubs to sit down and try to reach an agreement. We are available to work in the interest of the citizens of this country," said Špirić.
Špirić sent a message: "Constituent status yes, but subservience no," and left the hall of the House of Peoples of the BiH PA.
Since the quorum was thus broken, Ademović announced a 15-minute break.
After the break, Ademović stated that eight delegates were present at the session, two from the Club of Serbs, and therefore the session could not continue.
