Špirić announces blockade of the Budget of BiH institutions in the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly

(Patria) - The Chairman of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, Nikola Špirić, announced the possibility that the Budget of BiH institutions, adopted by the BiH Presidency at yesterday's session, will not be adopted in the BiH Parliamentary Assembly. Željka Cvijanović voted against that Budget proposal.

"The debt of BHRT cannot be financed from the budget. I don't know why they are doing this? We will not discuss extra-legal solutions – if they are ready to talk, we are here tomorrow. If not – there will be no budget this year.

The Presidency in September proposes a budget that should have been adopted last year. There is no concern there – it is chaos. This team is not building BiH, but unpacking it. No one is talking to anyone – it is absurd," said Špirić for RTRS.

Regarding the outvoting of Presidency member Željka Cvijanović, Špirić believes there is an attempt to shift responsibility for the fate of the budget.

"The House of Peoples gives the final word and protects the vital national interest. If anyone thinks they will force us to discuss illegal solutions, that is a delusion. The budget must be seriously discussed, and of course I call on all delegates to sit down together and discuss. The budget requires serious discussions and lawful decisions. Željka Cvijanović is right, who did not vote for such a budget. Perhaps the Bosniaks will show readiness to talk – let us hope. Everyone must respect the law, that is the basic obligation. We have recognized that this is about a created policy in which the Republika Srpska is constantly blamed. This is an attempt to eliminate the RS. We will not allow that. If anyone thinks differently, they will have to explain why they are doing it," concluded Špirić.
