Špirić: Dodik invited the Quint, the meeting was correct

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Nikola Špirić, SNSD delegate in the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliament, told reporters that the meeting of the Quint countries with member of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik was initiated by Dodik.

"They were informed about the conclusions adopted in Banja Luka. The meeting was correct. I cannot tell you anything further. The meeting was initiated by the member of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik," Špirić said.

We remind you that Dodik informed the ambassadors of the Quint countries about the positions of Republika Srpska officials following the decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH regarding the Law on Agricultural Land of Republika Srpska.

Ambassadors from the USA, Great Britain, France, Germany, and Italy held a meeting with Dodik, but there is no official information from any of the participants.

Špirić also explained that today in the House of Peoples they voted against all proposed items.

"This is our stance until the definitive stance of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, and the session will be held on Monday. Then we will see what the further steps of the elected representatives of the authorities in the institutions of BiH from RS will be," Špirić added.

He also commented on the proposal by SDP delegate Denis Bećirović at today's session that the Constitutional Court of BiH should have six foreign judges instead of three.

"It is the legitimate right of delegates to propose different agenda items, but the way colleague Bećirović has been proposing so far best reflects the house's stance on his proposals. None of his initiatives have been supported so far. I think that kind of political pyromania is not beneficial for BiH, and that is my stance, and that is how I responded to Bećirović," said the SNSD Vice-President.
