SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The "Four Hills" New Year's Tour offered great entertainment today in Garmisch-Partenkirchen on the first day of the new 2022.
The Japanese Ryoyu Kobayashi celebrated, who also recorded a triumph in Oberstdorf, the first stop of this competition.
Kobayashi won today in Garmisch-Partenkirchen with jumps of 143 and 135.5 meters, which was enough for 291.2 points.
Only 0.2 points less was won by the competitor from Germany Markus Eisenbichler with jumps of 141 and 143.5m, which was ultimately enough for 291 points.
The podium was completed by the Slovenian Lovro Kos with jumps of 135.5m and 138m, reaching 286 points.
With today's victory, Kobayashi also took the yellow jersey, reserved for the leader in the World Cup, from Karl Geiger, who finished 7th today.
The next stop of the New Year's Tour is Innsbruck on January 3-4.
