(Patria) - French Special Envoy for the Western Balkans Rene Troccaz is on an official visit to BiH. He met today with the Mayor of Sarajevo, Benjamina Karić, who hosted him at the City Hall.
"The increasingly frequent meetings are proof of the clear commitment of our friends around the world for Bosnia and Herzegovina and its capital to join the European family.
In the upcoming year 2024, we mark 40 years since the Winter Olympic Games. I am pleased to hear that Sarajevo's rich experience as an Olympic city is recognized as very significant for the organization of the Olympics in Paris.
The first historic meetings in the last 30 years with French President Emmanuel Macron, as well as with the mayor of the French capital Anne Hidalgo, have announced successful cooperation of the current city administration with friendly France," Karić stated in a post on X.
Troccaz also met with the member of the BiH Presidency Denis Bećirović at the BiH Presidency building.
