A demonstration exercise of members of special police units of the Federal Police Administration and ministries of internal affairs from four cantons was held today in the area of the old barracks in Nemila near Zenica, reports the news agency Patria.
The exercise aimed to train joint action in cases of disturbance of public order and peace, as well as the transition to a crisis state.
600 police officers participated in the exercise, along with teams of members of the special police units of the Federal Police Administration and the ministries of internal affairs of Tuzla Canton, Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Sarajevo Canton, and Zenica-Doboj Canton.
- From an experiential and professional aspect, we are better prepared and trained this year than last year, and we will continue to work continuously. Great professionalism and readiness were shown - stated Commissioner Semir Šut.
Before the exercise, a coordination meeting of the directors of the Federal Police Administration with the cantonal police commissioners was also held, where the current security situation in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was discussed.
