(Patria) - The search for the person who disappeared yesterday at 12 PM in the Bjelašnica area was suspended last night due to weather conditions, but members of the Sarajevo Canton Mountain Rescue Service are preparing and will head to the field this morning.
The terrain was extremely difficult yesterday due to heavy snow and blizzard on this mountain, which is precisely why the search was temporarily suspended.
One person missing in the Bjelašnica area: Search lasted nine hours, will continue in the morning. The missing person is an employee of the meteorological station who set off for the observatory summit in the early morning hours to take over his shift.
The missing person is a 46-year-old man from Konjic.
The teams participating in the search operation are members of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs Police Directorate, GSS Sarajevo, FUCZ, and ZOI'84.
