Spahović prepares for FFC in Sarajevo with Cro Cop

Bosnian Hulk Tomislav Spahović will lead an FFC event for the first time in his career, and in his hometown. On March 13, Spahović will face German Nicolai Salchow in Skenderija, who is an extremely tough and attractive opponent, writes the Patria News Agency.

Of course, Spahović is leaving nothing to chance in his preparations for this match, given his great desire to present himself in the best possible light to the Sarajevo audience. He has been intensively preparing for the FFC for several weeks and plans to travel to Zagreb, where he will spar with Igor Pokrajac and the famous Mirko Filipović - Cro Cop.

Joint training sessions benefit both, as Filipović gets a strong and very competent wrestling sparring partner, and Spahović gains much-needed experience, which is rarely found in the world of combat sports.

- A few more days and then "via" Zagreb again for sparring with Mirko Cro Cop, Igor Pokrajac and others, and to hone my form at the Croatian Combat Academy. We're going into Turbo mode - said Spahović, who has trained with Cro Cop several times before and holds him in high regard.

Spahović is impressing with his physical condition in preparation for the match in Sarajevo, and judging by the training plan, he will enter the match in front of his home crowd fully prepared for Nicolai Slachow.

Let us remind you, Spahović's last match was at the FFC in Ljubljana, where, despite torn knee ligaments, he defeated the Hungarian Sandor Okros. Besides him, Dževad Poturak, who is never more prepared than now, will also face the spectators in Sarajevo, who are eagerly awaiting this event. He is scheduled to fight Spaniard Frank Munoz in the main event.
