Spahić Donates Before Leaving for Brazil

Before leaving for the World Cup, captain of the BiH football team Emir Spahić, together with representatives of "Sberbank" BH, handed over a donation check to the Bambinosi Sarajevo football school as part of the campaign "Make the Right Move", reports the Patria News Agency.

- With this project, we have also provided support to young people, because we believe that young people, in this case young athletes, are the best ambassadors of this country - stated Vedran Peršić, head of the Marketing and Communications department at Sberbank BH.

Emir Spahić, on the other hand, said that the entire team working on selecting football schools had their hands full considering the number of applications received.

- We did this with pleasure, because our primary goal was for the money, as well as the equipment, to reach the right hands – said Spahić during the donation handover, adding that he is pleased and happy to be able to spend time with the children because they are truly our sincere friends and fans.

Elmir Behlulović, president of the "Bambinosi" Sarajevo Football School, emphasized that this donation means a lot to them.

- We will strive even harder to influence our boys, and to educate them both athletically and in terms of upbringing – says Behlulović.
