Spahić: We will show how capable we are, and our thoughts are especially with the flood victims

Ahead of tomorrow's historic appearance of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team against Argentina at the World Cup in Brazil, team captain Emir Spahić has also spoken, reports the Patria news agency. Namely, Spahić sent a letter to all fans and football lovers in which he encourages them and says that all the guys on the team will give their maximum.

- My teammates and I personally are ready for the appearance at the biggest world football event, and I can freely say that we can hardly wait for the start of the match. To all of you who have been and will be with us, live at the stadium, or around the world in front of TV screens, the captain cannot promise certain victories and advancement to the second phase of the competition, but he can promise that all our national team players will do everything to present Bosnia and Herzegovina in the best light, and to show the entire planet how capable and qualified we Bosnians and Herzegovinians are for the greatest results - wrote Spahić.

He further added that they will especially think of all the flood victims in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- Our thoughts are especially with the flood victims in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and everything we have experienced with our people is a motivation to find within ourselves additional strength, patience, knowledge and concentration to achieve the best possible result in Brazil and at least in that way brighten the everyday life of those who have lost their homes, property, security. All as one for our Bosnia and Herzegovina - added Spahić, as reported by Patria.
