Spahić: Academician Romanić was a missionary of art

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The President of the International Peace Center, Ibrahim Spahić, on the occasion of the death of Teodor Romanić, sent his deepest condolences to his daughters Aleksandra and Tatjana, members of the family, collectives in which he worked, and friends, the Center announced.

"Academician Teodor Romanić was a unique missionary of art as a musician, conductor, composer, author of significant works, and professor who, in his personal, family, and public life, built a world woven from the universal values of humanity. His treble clef opened all the magical spaces of human creativity in the Sarajevo Philharmonic, the Opera of the National Theatre Sarajevo, the Music Academy, ANUBiH, and the Council of the Sarajevo Winter Festival," says Spahić.

It is added that generations of students, musicians, and the Sarajevo and international public will remember his wonderful and creative role in their lives.

"Teodor's work is unforgettable, and the path he followed so passionately and with dignity is noble," the statement said.
