(Patria) - Head of the EU Delegation to BiH Luigi Soreca addressed the platform X today on the occasion of the conclusion of the "Quick Response 2024" exercise.
"I am honored to address servicemen and servicewomen from 23 countries, authorities in BiH and the international community at the closing ceremony of the 'Quick Response 2024' exercise.
EUFOR's presence in BiH is a clear and visible sign of the EU's commitment to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In 2022, the EU doubled EUFOR's presence in BiH. 'Quick Response' reaffirmed EUFOR's response capability as a multinational force and its continuous support to BiH institutions, especially the BiH Armed Forces in maintaining a secure environment," Soreca wrote on X.

The closing ceremony of the "Quick Response 2024" exercise was held today at EUFOR Headquarters in Camp Butmir.
The aim of this exercise, which began on August 24, was to demonstrate EUFOR's readiness and confirm its continuous support to partners in BiH in preserving a secure environment in BiH.
This extensive training involved EUFOR troops from 23 member states, temporarily reinforced by reserve forces from Austria, Hungary, and Romania.
The exercise was conducted under the command of the EUFOR multinational troop group, and its aim was also to improve interoperability with units of the Kosovo Force (KFOR), which also participated in the exercise.
More than a thousand personnel with state-of-the-art military equipment, armored personnel carriers, helicopters, and various vehicles participated in various drills and military operations, with the aim of demonstrating EUFOR's readiness to preserve stability and peace in BiH.
Soldiers demonstrated skills in resolving crisis situations such as hostage crises, riot control, patrolling, convoy escort, medical evacuation, and helicopter rescue of casualties.
EUFOR forces closely cooperated with the Armed Forces of BiH in these exercises.
After the exercise concludes, the EUFOR reserve forces from Austria, Romania, and Hungary will return to their bases.
