Solidarity and support for the residents of Aleppo: Old Bridge lit in green tonight

In a sign of solidarity and support for the residents of Aleppo, the Old Bridge in Mostar was lit in green tonight, symbolizing peace. Mostar residents remember the tragic fate of their city's inhabitants, and in this way, they have shown solidarity with the residents of the Syrian city and paid tribute to the innocent civilian victims who perished.

This symbolic gesture aims to send another appeal to the international community to urgently respond and provide assistance to the residents of Aleppo.

This is not the first time that Mostar, organized by the "Center for Peace and Interethnic Cooperation," has expressed solidarity with people around the world. The UNESCO-protected monument, the Old Bridge, which today is considered an international symbol of peace and reconciliation, has previously been lit in the colors of France and Turkey following terrorist attacks in Paris and Istanbul.
