Solak: Aerial disinsection in Posavina Canton, ground-based in the valleys of Bosna and Spreča

Aerial spraying, or disinsection, began this morning in the areas of Odžak, Orašje, and Domaljevac, while in the valleys of Bosna and Spreča it will be carried out from the ground, said Fahrudin Solak, acting director of the Federal Civil Protection Administration for the BH News Agency Patria.

We remind you that during spraying, all persons, especially those with chronic respiratory diseases and breathing difficulties, food, bees, and all other domestic animals should be kept away from the direct impact of the substance that will be sprayed by plane. For this purpose, we recommend sheltering all animals and food stored outdoors before spraying, and closing windows and staying indoors during the spraying period. All food, fruits, and vegetables that cannot be protected during spraying should be washed thoroughly before use to avoid any potential adverse effects of the substances for adulticidal mosquito treatment - according to the notice from the Federal Civil Protection Headquarters signed by Chief Fahrudin Solak, which was also delivered to the Government of Brčko District BiH, and the Republican Civil Protection Administration of RS, reports Patria.
