Shock in Zvornik: Diver Andrej Beuc jumped from the bridge into the Drina, did not resurface, search for body underway

Today's jumps from the bridge where the Zvornik Border Crossing is located, held as part of the "Zvornik Summer" event, were interrupted by a tragedy, a young life was extinguished.

Around 4:40 PM, Andrej Beuc, a diver from Slovenia, jumped from the bridge, after which he surfaced and raised his hands asking for help. Rescue boats immediately headed towards him, but Andrej sank, reports the Patria news agency. 

Panic broke out under the bridge and a frantic search for the young man began. Two colleagues of Andrej Beuc jumped into the water to assist in the search. The search for the body of the deceased young man, which also involved divers, is hampered by murky water.

Andrej Beuc was born on September 18, 1982, in Krško. He is a professional parachutist with extensive experience in jumps.
