SNSD in Bosanski Šamac postpones ceremonial part of rally, Dodik to attend Tihić's funeral

The Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) has postponed the ceremonial part of an election rally that was supposed to be held today in Bosanski Šamac, due to the funeral of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) president Sulejman Tihić, confirmed for the BH News Agency Patria from SNSD.

The president of this party and the leader of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, will also attend Tihić's funeral.

Predrag Marinković, president of the Municipal Board of SNSD in Bosanski Šamac, confirmed for Patria that the gathering of party members and sympathizers was supposed to start today at 3 PM, but the entire ceremonial part, which included music and celebration, has been postponed due to Tihić's funeral.

- Sulejman Tihić is our fellow citizen and he deserves our respect - Marinković told NAP.

SNSD will organize only the presentation of the party's candidates for the upcoming elections in Bosanski Šamac around 6 PM, after Tihić's funeral, NAP reports.
