SNSD claimed conditions were not met for today's session, Zvizdić postponed it to January 23 without explanation

(Patria) - Chairman of the House of Representatives of the BiH PA Denis Zvizdić (NIP) did not state the reasons for postponing today's emergency session of the HoR of the BiH PA, which was supposed to consider two laws: the Law on Border Control and the Law on Personal Data Protection, adopted by the Council of Ministers of BiH on December 17.

Before the postponement of the session, an expanded Collegium session of the House was held, attended by the heads of the caucuses, and in his address to the representatives, Zvizdić did not reveal why the session was postponed.

According to a Patria source, Collegium member Nebojša Radmanović (SNSD) stated that the conditions for today's session were not met, even though a sufficient number of representatives were present for work and decision-making.

The head of the SNSD Caucus, Sanja Vulić, at one point during the discussion at the Collegium, said that European laws are a matter of agreement and that they do not agree to any blackmail.

Although SNSD did not officially request the postponement of the session, it was clear from the discussion that SNSD opposed today's session, so Zvizdić himself proposed that it be held on the same day as the regular session of this House, on January 23.

However, this is not the only postponement of sessions in the BiH PA. Without any explanation, representatives were informed yesterday that the 1st special joint session of both houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH on the topic: "REPRESENTATIVES/DELEGATES ASK - COUNCIL OF MINISTERS OF BiH RESPONDS" is postponed to February 5. It was originally scheduled for January 22.

Although the law stipulates that this session should be held once a year, it has never been held during the two-year mandate of the Council of Ministers of BiH.
