SNSD suspends election media campaign due to referendum

SNSD completely suspends its media campaign for local elections so that all public attention until September 25 is focused on holding the referendum and the citizens' decision on the Day of Republika Srpska, it was announced from SNSD, reports the Patria news agency. 

From this party, they announce that they will cede all of their purchased media space to the Commission for Conducting the Referendum, in order to better inform the citizens of Republika Srpska about the holding of the referendum.

They call on all residents to turn out in as large numbers as possible for the referendum and defend the right to Republika Srpska and its Day, January 9. From SNSD, they expect that other participants in the local election campaign will also cede their media space to the referendum campaign, the statement reads.
