SNSD deputies in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament will be in opposition and will continue to refuse to attend sessions until the Speaker of this legislative body, Šefik Džaferović, is removed due to, as they claim, serious allegations of war crimes against Serbs, reports the Patria news agency.
This was confirmed after today's meeting in Banja Luka of SNSD deputies and delegates in both houses of the BiH Parliament with the President of Republika Srpska and SNSD, Milorad Dodik.
The head of the SNSD Deputy Club in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament, Staša Košarac, told reporters that they remain firm in their stance that deputies in the House of Representatives will not participate in the plenary part of the session as long as Džaferović is a member of the Collegium.
-Those who committed war crimes against Serbs in the past war cannot be members of the Collegium. This is retrograde and bad for overall relations at the BiH level. We continue to call on political parties participating in the House of Representatives to join our initiative and make Džaferović's removal a point on the agenda, said Košarac.
He claims that at this meeting they did not discuss the declaration of the Croatian National Assembly, and he says their stance is that they will not allow anything that goes against the interests of Republika Srpska.
SNSD delegate in the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliament, Sredoje Nović, when asked about the presence of SNSD Vice President Nada Tešanović at the session of the Croatian National Assembly, said that they are "too big a party to discuss every issue."
-We will very clearly know how to take our stance regarding the HNS and the adopted declaration, and everything that interests Republika Srpska, which is above all, he stated.
