(Patria) - SNSD President Milorad Dodik said that his party will vote for the dismissal of Elmedin Konaković from the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The initiative for dismissal was submitted by representatives of SDA and DF.
"We had initiated Konaković's dismissal for our reasons, SDA said they could not vote for those reasons. They gave their own. Konaković is not capable either politically or in any other way to lead processes on behalf of Bosniaks, I think there is a majority to dismiss him and he will be dismissed. Why would we defend him now. That initiative is welcome. We will vote for the reasons cited by SDA because it is important to us that Konaković be removed from office," said Dodik after a meeting with HDZ BiH President Dragan Čović.
Dodik stated that "the lad got carried away, but let him play until the end," but that "the wind will blow him away" this time.
"One cannot play around with two or three deputies. They are there because SDP enabled them. We have never meddled in who will be a cadre on behalf of Bosniaks or Croats. They meddle in everything," Dodik emphasized.
Dodik also said that in the Collegium of the House of Representatives there must be a Serb and that nothing adopted without a Serbian representative is legitimate, and that he will propose Branislav Borenović for the Collegium.
