An unprecedented snowstorm has hit the American East Coast, from Philadelphia to New York, and meteorologists predict that, due to record rainfall, the snow cover could reach 90 centimeters.
Airlines have canceled almost 1,800 flights, Reuters reports.
The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning for the northern part of the East Coast, and US states from New Jersey to Indiana are under warning until Tuesday.
- This could be the biggest snowstorm in the history of this city - warned New York Mayor Bill de Blasio.
